Our courses are designed for beginners but will impart knowledge to the most experienced investors. While we can only recommend you start with there personal financial statement course, it is not a prerequisite. We must however stress that understanding your own finances is imperative to understanding your risk profile and your personal goal settings and targets,
From time to time FinLit_SA will make coupons available to learners who struggle financially. These coupons are limited to certain courses. We do believe that EDUCATION is power.
Our Goal is to empower South Africans by teaching basic financial literacy skills to help them navigate. With traditional education being increasingly expensive, FinLit_SA strives to impart knowledge that sis meaningful through affordable short courses. These courses cover a wide range of topics from Personal Financial Statements to how to buy shares and what to look out for when buying shares on the stock market. FinLit_SA is not an accredited course however it is an opportunity to grow your understanding of the financial field.
Our Goals is empower you to be able to know which shares have growth potential. So no, we do not to tell your which shares to invest in or give any form of financial advice. We are here to teach you how to read financial statements, find information about companies, and how to diversify your portfolio.
General queries
FinLit SA will only allow a limited number of course lectures. Each of whom will be interviewed and course content assessed to determine if the content is in line with the goals of FinLit SA.
FinLit SA endeavors to go through the finances of a listed company the JSE or NSE once a month. While unpacking the financials of the company, FinLit SA will look at important ratios within the sector. The purpose of which is to illustrate an educational demonstration of the analysis and is in no way financial advice nor should it be seen as such. Economic moat will be looked at as well as news regarding the company.
The monthly mailer is only available to course participants of FinLit SA for up to 6 months after the course last purchases.
